The gmood was created with the two main values of our CEO -- Genessis Meza -- creative expression and confidence. We strive to deliver curated pieces that spark joy, confidence, and comfort. Fashion has many moods, it is an art, a form of self expression. We believe fashion has no rules, gender, or limits. Confidence has more than one look -- don't be afraid to switch up the mood. 

 

ABOUT THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Genessis Meza created the gmood to reflect her own style and personality. She can never be tied down to one specific style. She can appreciate a classic polished professional look, while also feeling confident in loungewear.

Her earliest inspiration of style is her mother, Ilda Meza, the gmood's Production Manager and Assistant Buyer. Ilda’s first job when she immigrated to the United States was at a fashion boutique and she worked there through pregnancy and even many years after both her kids were born. Genessis has many memories hanging out in that store. Its a dream come true for Genessis to start this boutique and have the tables turn as they both now run gmood.
